The Emergence of Ethereal Moroccan Skies

Initially "The Emergence of Ethereal Moroccan Skies" consisted of only piano.

I wrote and played the piano based on the guitar chord progression of "Moroccan Sky."

I was very happy with the piano part and decided to have it repeat many more times than I had originally intended.

I then arranged strings to accompany the simple piano part. This was difficult as I have never learned to read or write music. However, I was able to just use the simple chord progression for the strings, and I think it came out sounding very pleasant. The strings consist of cello, upright bass and violin.

I thought I would just leave the track instrumental as it was supposed to just be a very short, quiet intro to the EP. As I listened to it multiple times, I kept hearing the "Moroccan Sky" refrain in my head and decided to include it three times.

The track ends by fading out the piano and strings together. I began withthe strings slowly dissolving, leaving only the simple piano. I experimented with the piano and stings fading together, liked the sound of it, and kept it.

"The Emergence of Ethereal Moroccan Skies" serves its puropse well as an introduction to the EP.
