"La FamiliaIlluminada" was written, performed, recorded and produced during November and December, 2017.

The hope is that the songs on this recording are immediately accessible and engaging, while simultaneously being musically interesting and adventurous.

As the last EP "Cementerio," consisted of instrumental heavy metal and heavy rock music, there was an intentional process of creating something completely different. The music on "La Familia Illuminada" is very inspired by pop and classic rock.

The EP is notable in that it contains the first Solar Ritual collaboration with another musician. Maria Morris plays drums on three of the tracks.
