"Animales Del Sol" is the debut album by Solar Ritual, a recording project based in Arequipa, Peru.

All of the songs comprising "Animales Del Sol" were recorded with a single acoustic guitar, using a digital four track recorder between July and September 2017.

The sound is intentionally lo-fi and intimate, reflecting the environment in which it was recorded. At times breathing, neighbors, dogs and minor mistakes are all audible. Rather than obsess over these imperfections, they were embraced as components of the recording process. Digital effects were added to the acoustic guitar in an attempt to create depth and atmosphere.

The tracks comprising Solar Ritual's debut are entirely instrumental. The intention being that the compositions would serve to document a period of immense love, happiness and glorious transformation in a purely musical format.
